During quarantine it’s been increasingly important to find ways to stay connected to other music makers. Normally I’m pretty happy to just hole up in my studio and obsess of musical minutia. However, when your whole life seems to be holed up and obsessing over minutia, it’s those brief moments that allow you to leave yourself that take on new meaning. As a challenge I tasked myself with remixing music for artists that I admire (something I have never done before). It has been quite inspiring to have the connection with other creators. I hope to build a collection of remixes for some sort of official digital release in the future but for now these remixes may trickle out here and there. This first one is for fellow Victorian Psychic Pollution. Normally Jzero follows a very aesthetically minimal lo-fi approach, so I wanted to create something that glimmered and shone.
